A Million Voices: Uniting Through Stories 

“A Million Voices” aims to improve the mental health and social integration of Ukrainian refugees in the EU through innovative art and narrative therapy. The project will be implemented in three partner countries, focusing on empowering refugees and fostering social cohesion with local communities. 

Objectives: 

  • Enhance the mental well-being of Ukrainian refugees. 
  • Strengthen social bonds between refugees and local communities. 
  • Empower participants through skill development in art and storytelling. 
  • Raise public awareness and influence policies on refugee integration. 

Key Activities: 

  • Conduct interviews with refugees, locals, and social workers to identify needs and best practices. 
  • Organize art therapy workshops, including singing, painting, gong therapy, dance therapy, and cooking events. 
  • Develop a nature walk path featuring Ukrainian stories accessible via digital platforms. 
  • Host storytelling picnics, outdoor movie nights, and mural painting events. 
  • Produce a documentary and disseminate findings through various channels. 

Relevance to the Call: 

The project addresses the Call’s objectives by promoting social inclusion and integration of refugees, using innovative approaches that can be scaled and replicated. It aligns with the Call’s focus on enhancing social cohesion and providing holistic support to displaced persons, contributing to long-term resilience and community strength. 

Project unites Lithuania, Poland and Germany.
