#6 Communication
Effective communication is essential for project success. Additionally, clear and consistent communication enhances project visibility, enabling better decision-making and risk management. Strong relationships with stakeholders, fostered through effective communication, lead to increased collaboration and support.
Information and dissemination essentials
- Use the EU emblem (co-funded version) and the logo of the Social Innovation+ initiative in all communication materials.
- Connect with Social Innovation+ initiative on social media: LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube.
- Tag Social Innovation+ initiative in project-related posts on social media.
- Use hashtags #ESFplus #SocialInnovationPlus #EUfunds.
Usage of logos
Logos are essential tools in the communication of EU-funded projects. By prominently displaying the EU emblem, Call beneficiaries acknowledge the EU’s support and increase the visibility of EU initiatives. This visual branding strengthens the link between the project and the EU, emphasising its importance and impact. Additionally, logos help to create a unified and recognisable identity for EU-funded projects, promoting a sense of community and shared purpose among beneficiaries, stakeholders, and the general public. Download the EU emblem (co-funded version) HERE. Download the logo and mini brandbook of the Social Innovation+ initiative HERE.
The EU emblem and the ESF+ SI+ logo must be displayed with at least the same prominence and visibility as any other associated logos (e.g., those of beneficiaries or other sponsors).
Project videos
Video is a powerful communication format that can effectively convey information and engage audiences, as they condense complex information into easily digestible visual content, making it accessible to a wider audience. Videos also allow for a more personal and emotional connection with viewers, fostering a deeper understanding of project goals and outcomes. Additionally, videos can be shared easily across various platforms, maximising their reach and impact thus creating opportunities for greater visibility and engagement.
Aims of the project videos:
- Showcase how your project brings positive change to the lives of young vulnerable people and motivate their peers to participate in similar projects or seek other opportunities to improve their current situations.

Major media impact
Organising press conferences, media briefings, and interviews with key project stakeholders can generate significant media attention. Collaborating with journalists and media outlets to produce high-quality news articles, features, and documentaries can further amplify the project’s visibility. Leveraging social media platforms to share engaging content, such as videos, infographics, and live updates, can attract a wider audience and spark online discussions. Additionally, organising public events, exhibitions, and workshops can create opportunities for direct interaction with the public, generating positive media coverage and building public support for the project. We encourage such activities from project implementers, but kindly ask to coordinate them with us in advance.
