The ESF+ Community of Practice on Migrant Integration is pleased to announce a Study Visit ‘Creating Opportunities for the Future:  Labour Market Orientation and Support for Migrants’ taking place on 23-24 June 2026 in Madrid, Spain. This event is part of our ongoing ESF+ Community of Practice on Migrant Integration’s activities, focussing on exploring innovative and successful ESF+ approaches promoting the sustainable, equitable and fair integration of migrants into the labour market.

The event is mainly targeted for the members of the ESF+ Community of Practice on Migrant Integration which includes ESF+ Managing Authorities, Intermediary Bodies, Implementing Organisations and other relevant stakeholders.

This event highlights ESF+ strategies as a vital tool for equitable labour market integration. We bring together ESF+ stakeholders to showcase how regional networks – linking administration, business, and social sectors – transform institutional goals into inclusive economic growth. Participants will have the opportunity to visit the ESF+ funded projects, that support the social, educational and labour market integration for the most disadvantaged youth population including third-country nationals.

Objectives:

  • To gain insights into Spain’s long-standing strategy for improving the labour market integration of third-country nationals
  • To exchange views and good practices on the labour market integration of third-country nationals, including migrants, through discussions, workshops, and site visits
  • To foster networking and collaboration with a wide range of partners and stakeholders across Europe
