We are pleased to invite you to the study visit ‘Partnerships’ Ecosystem developed by Actiris‘ hosted by Actiris (the Public Employment Service of the Brussels – Capital Region), which will be held on 6-7th November 2024 in Brussels, Belgium.

This event will focus on an in-depth understanding of the systematic management of partnerships developed by Actiris, which enables them to rely on more than 150 partners in the field in meeting the increasingly diverse needs of job seekers and employers. We will explore how it may be started on a smaller scale and which elements may be transferable to other contexts across the EU. Developing systematic cooperation with partner organisations can boost the effectiveness of the employment measures (including ESF+ operations) and contribute to reaching the goals outlined in the EU Social Pillars’ goals. Partners may support public agencies (PES or municipalities) in serving vulnerable groups in several ways: increase outreach, broaden the range of specialised services, inspire innovation, or help to overcome limited institutional capacities.

The event is open to all members of the CoP on Employment, Education and Skills interested in the subject, but particularly relevant to:

– experts in ESF+ Managing Authorities responsible for designing or promoting social and employment policy interventions for vulnerable groups, or capacity building and institutional development in PES and other public providers of employment and social policy.

– PES or municipal managers responsible for capacity building or for implementing services to support the labour market integration and social inclusion of vulnerable groups.

– government experts responsible for fostering social innovation.
