The European Competence Centre for Social Innovation, in collaboration with the ESF+ Communities of Practice on Social Innovation and Social Inclusion, is organising the online workshop ‘Sharing Visions, Challenges and Practices in Impact Measurement’, which will be held on 18 November 2025 from 09:00 to 12:30 (CET).

This event is dedicated to the members of both Communities of Practice (CoP) – ESF+ Bodies (ESF+ Managing Authorities and Implementing Bodies), National Competence Centres, project promotors and beneficiaries.

The aim of this online event is to mutualise both CoPs’ knowledge by focusing on the methods and tools to assess social innovation results and impact in the specific policy fields and sectors of the CoP on Social Inclusion.

Also, the overarching objective of this online event is to prepare the ground for the onsite study visit organised by the Community of Practice on Social Inclusion and Community of Practice on Social Innovation in 2026 on social impact measurement.

Specifically, the event aims to:

  • Identify the most pressing issues related to social impact measurement.
  • Understand the needs and concerns of different stakeholders in the ESF+ ecosystem (Managing Authorities, Intermediate Bodies, National Competence Centres, project promoters, and final target groups) regarding impact measurement.
  • Gather information on useful models and good practices for an onsite event expected to take place in 2026.
  • Inform all relevant actors on impact measurement in view of its importance for the future programming period post-2027.
