The ESF+ Community of Practice on Material Support is organising an on-site event ‘Integrated Approaches to Material Support: Accompanying Measures and Partnerships in Practice’, taking place on 24-25 March 2026 in Rome, Italy.

The event will examine how material support can be more effectively integrated with accompanying measures, including case management (coordinated guidance and support tailored to individual needs), housing support and other social services. The discussions will also emphasise the importance of collaboration among Managing Authorities, intermediate bodies, and partner organisations to ensure interventions are tailored to individual needs and promote long-term inclusion. Italy’s experience in linking material assistance with access to public services will provide a practical basis for exchange and study visits, enabling participants to learn from innovative approaches on the ground.

Villa Altieri, Viale Manzoni, 47 Rome
