Integrated Approach and Multi-Fund Approach for Social Innovation

We are pleased to invite you to an online workshop organised by the ESF+ Community of Practice on Social Innovation (CoP on SI) on Tuesday, 4 February from 9:00 to 11:30 CET via MS Teams. 

The event is primarily dedicated to the ESF+ Managing Authorities and National Competence Centres, but it is open to all members of the CoP on SI who are interested in the subject. 

The aim of this workshop is to present and discuss various strategies for supporting social innovation (SI) in a more integrated manner, by leveraging a combination of different EU funds and programmes. These include the use of the European Structural and Investment Funds (ESIF), such as ESF+, ERDF, and EAFRD, as well as cross-funding options and other EU programmes and funds, including ERASMUS+, AMIF, FEAD, and Horizon Europe.

This online event will also highlight the Community-Led Local Development (CLLD) approach, featuring practical examples from Member States that have utilised it to promote social innovation through the ESF+. Additionally, the challenges faced and potential improvements for the post-2027 ESF+ programming period will be discussed.
