We are pleased to invite you to the online event, ‘Bridging Gaps in Vocational Training: The Role of NGOs and the Impact of ESF Support in Europe’, which is organised by the ESF+ Community of Practice on Employment, Education and Skills (CoP on EES) and will be moderated by the CoP on EES thematic expert Jörg Markowitsch. This online event will take place on 11 February, from 14:00 to 16:00 CET.

This webinar will present the findings of a study exploring the role of NGOs in vocational education and training (VET) for socially disadvantaged groups across Europe. Featuring case studies from Austria, Italy, Slovenia, and Spain, the study showcases how NGOs, supported by the European Social Fund (ESF) and ESF+, complement formal education systems and address structural gaps in labour markets.

The event is designed for individuals and organisations involved in or interested in education and training for socially disadvantaged groups. Participants will gain valuable insights and first-hand experiences from two exemplary practices in Austria and Spain.
